Timisoara Zoological Garden

Timisoara Zological Garden was reopened to the public after a long period of time, during which there were made numerous investment works for the creation of habitats that would ensure proper conditions for the wild animals in captivity.

Those who will enjoy most are definitely the children. A Kinder Zoo populated with kind animals that they can feed and caress awaits them. A mini-safari park was also designed especially for children.

Timisoara Zoo is ready for visitors of all ages. We invite you to a walk in nature in a space where all the elements of nature have been respected and valued. You can see here a variety of animals, many of them unusual. Some are species that live in Central and South America, in Europe and some live in Africa and Australia. Our animals come from the Zoological Garden in Szeged, with which we have signed a partnership.

The new zoolological garden "The Green Forest" has a new concept: "more space - closer to the animals". Here there are the following animal species: bears, stags, emu bird, guanaco, ostriches, dwarf kangaroos, capuchin monkeys, dwarf goats, numerous breeds of rabbits and small hens, hamsters and waterfowl: black swans, various species of ducks.

Because of the special collection of animals that we offer the public and because of the big number of visitors we kindly ask the latter ones to respect the signs shown at the entrance as well as the ones placed along the visiting route.

We remind you of the rules of Timisoara Zoo:

• Do not come near the animals
• Do not throw objects towards the animals
• Do not scare the animals
• Do not bring pets
• Do not smoke
• Keep clean and quiet
